They've opened up a Farmer's Market in Musquodoboit Harbour, at the Railway Museum (which, as I mentioned before, had one of my ancestors as a Station Master there, back when the trains were still running). Here's a shot of the Museum as we were driving back from Martinique last summer.
The market runs every Sunday, starting July 13th, and running through until October - 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. There'll be food, flowers, produce, crafts and preserves! Sounds like something for everyone!

Thanks for this blog post, Ann! I googled "Musquodoboit Harbour Market" (cause I'd heard a rumour) and up came your blog full of all the info I needed. Can't wait to check out the market this Sunday...

Glad my post helped! I got a flyer for the Market in the mail, and thought it couldn't hurt to put the info on the Internet! :) I hope to get to go, if not this week, then soon! Sounds like it'll be great, and I can't wait to get hold of some local produce!
